Southern & Central Highlands

My first visit to the Highlands was to Glencoe in February 2006. I was amazed by the scenery. The grandeur of the place, the mountains, lochs and glens are awe-inspiring. Some of the scenes at Rannoch Moor and around the Buchaille Etive Mor (a nicely-shaped mountain which just asks to be photographed) may be well-known to photographers and possibly overdone, but that is not a reason not to photograph them. The beauty of landscape photography is that the light and the weather are never the same twice - each image is unique.
