Faded Barn

This nineteenth century barn is in rural Worcestershire. It is in a state of disrepair - as is apparent from the photographs - but to me it has a wonderful faded beauty. The plaque at the top left of the end of the barn says that it was built in 1863.

I understand that it is not clear whether it will be renovated or demolished. This led me to photograph it, in case its charms are lost to progress.

The barn, and the surrounding land and buildings, are owned by a charitable trust.
