I live in Norfolk, England. Most of my photography is large format (5x4") landscape work. I am always enthused by the natural world - its colours, textures and (especially) light.

I use a 5x4” view camera because I enjoy the contemplative approach to photography, and being able to compose an image upside down and laterally reversed on a ground glass screen under a dark cloth. 5x4 makes the user work carefully - but this is a challenge when the light is changing rapidly.

As well as large format landscape and nature photography, I often use somewhat more agile digital SLRs to record events such as the seaweed gatherers' festival and the battle which you will find in the Projects gallery.
